My current taste of music is terribly odd XD

Actually, my iPod contains death metal as well as pop....it's really funny to get blown away by Gallhammer at the one moment and then to enjoy "Happy Summer Wedding" by Moring Musume^^

Searching their music, btw, is absolute horror - I have 2 links, one for all albums and one for all singles....but: they're zipped to one big data each, and my connection sucks, so it's absolutely impossible to download two 500 MB files at 18kb/s....
I feel like crying T_T

By chance, I saw a funny movie on Tele5 named "A dirty shame" with Johnyy Knoxville and Selma Blair^^
It was one of the simultaniously dumbest and best movies I ever enjoyed XD

Funeral

Today was quite strange.
We went to my grandfather's funeral to the northsea.
Had to start at 8.30 am, and at the beginning it was more like a family trip.

While driving, we mostly slept or read or fooled around. And my mother took her first digital photograph....quote:

"Hey, stop stumbeling around, stay still....oh, that was me, I shook the cam..." XDD

The funeral itself was ... intensive. I kept wondering why I didn't cry when he died. It was somehow...surreal, I guess.
Now that was so ... eventually. Realized now he'll be gone forever. Hm...strange. Dunno...
Seeing the jar with his ashes within and the sign with his dates of birth and death was just to much. I intentionally seated myself with the back against it in order to not have to see it all the time. By the way, the ship's seats and curtains were ugly >_<
Throwing the flowers into the water after the jar had been placed in the sea was a nice goodbye, I think. It was something very beautiful, and I can visit him now as often as I go for the northsea...that's a positive thing.

Riding the boat remembered me of a trip with my grandfather when we drove down the Rhine with a ship, making me at the same time happy and sad. I wish I had had some more time with him, but...I can't change it anymore. :(
And I have to note I was really pissed on my brother: My grandfather bought me a black "Hard Rock Cologne"-shirt during that trip. It means very much to me and I wanted to wear it during the funeral (obviously also because I have no suit T_T ), but he wore it the day before and today, so I couldn't wear it, although he knew I wanted to.

Funnily, the wind was very strong. My aunt got really seasick, she was totally white XD and the captain had problems to stand^^

Actually, I'm not willing in writing much more about this.

On the homeway, nothing noteable happend.

Well, this week was very exciting^^

So many things happened, nice ones and bad ones.
Actually it wasn't that much, but it made me feel the week to be very long^^

First of all, I saw Ayabie live, was a really great concert. They actually were the first japanese band I saw performing live ever, so it was quite nice to enjoy them again^^
Sadly, this stupid ...girl just before me bought the last ayabie-sweatwrist, so I only could buy the DVD...
And, having watched the CUBE [L/R]ock-PV (or whatever it was called, I forgot it XD), I decided to buy Rikkaboshi as well.

By the way, I tried to find some deadman-CDs/DVDs, but that's pretty hart, they're almost sold out T_T

So, what next? Nadja, one of our dogs, died this week, due to her age. My sister told me via MySpace, while I was working. Nice way to tell...
Let's stay with death: my grandfather's funeral will be next week - I'm not happy about this at all.
I've never been to a funeral...really scared how I will react...time will tell.

Back to funny things: my father had a accidentwith his bike, caused by my brother^^
now he keeps refusing to talk to him and telling everyone, what a bad person my brother is...
I mean....hey, my brother's 17 years old, so just leave him alone...(my father's a bastard - I absolutely believe in that)

i decided not to go to the concert yesterday, but I will go to the concert of Shinji in Dortmund.
That's better than going alone^^

And, i decided to buy a camera.
I know what I do before sleeping, and what I do when I wake up.

perhaps I am part of a criminal oraganisation whose goal is the world domination, and I didn't even notice...

I'm very happy^^ I got a Benjamin-Blümchen-Törööö!-Cake - Benjamin Blümchen is a big cartoon elephant living in a zoo, red dresses who has the ability to talk. This qualifies him to be a policeman, a fireman, a doctor and even brought him in outer space.

Here it is: my cake.
I shall call him Björn. Please note the tiny little box placed in the centre...there's a gift in it^^

Where Björn was delivered in. When i unpacked him, it was like birth. So I am... Björn's mother. I really love him.
This Box is something like a uterus then.

Now here you can see Björn without the presetnbox, revealing his full beauty. I'm getting a mother's feeling towards him.
Who wouldn't be proud to have such a beautifull child?

This is what was within the gift box. A big, green-dressed elephant with a red cap on it. Genius!
Normally babies plop out of their mother, just crying and being dirty. Not mine. My boy came out, perfect and sweet, and even donated me a little present. Well...he's like....Jesus XD

So I am 21 now...damn it, I'm frinkin' old XDDD
But, I am allowed to get drunk all over the world, in the interesting countries^^

Quite funny, I got lots of "Happy B-Day"-Mails and comments, what in fact was something I hadn't expected...felt quite comfortable about this.
And, to boast massively, as.milk send me a mail, too^^

This was an absolute highlight of my day^^ *big smile*

Due to my grandfather's death 2 days ago, I'm not gonna celebrate - my grandmother, whose birthday is today, too, neither.
Just don't feel like it.

Well, being a year older again is strange...actually it means nothing at all except that the world sale on candles will raise at the rate of 1 this year...odd business XD

The only good thing about it are the presents..although mine are never nice...just get money, but this is ok because I'm going to move out in the near future, so I'll need money anyway. My parents always refused to give me money as a present...this year they did. I asked them for a camera (for this blog), and they gave me money so I can buy it myself...they got lazy, didn't they? XD
But...who cares?

So, what else? Nothing new, I guess...Oh, wait! I'm playing a text-based Online-game, "Legend of the green dragon".
This game is really odd - it's good and entertaining, no question about that, but....I'm always dying odd ways XD
It would be ok if I died in a combat, but instead I died:

Yesterday a thought came to my mind:

The "big rock bands" from the west are mostly gone...The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana....Musicians like Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley - dead. Only a few of those are still left, from the big times of Rock 'n' Roll, but only a shade of themselves now. Just look at Alice Cooper, once being a parent's nightmare, now playing golf instead.
In Germany this development an be seen as well, I guess. The Scorpions, Doro, Nina Hagen, Einstürzende Neubauten, Kraftwerk....

There are new awesome bands, no question about that. But they aren't as big as the old

So, now the twist to japan:

The japanese Music scene developed years later than the western. Therefore it lacks I think about 20 years of experience. The fact that it nevertheless is as good as the western music scene to me really shows the japanese music potential.

But: Will there be the same procedure as in our countries? Will many of them die young due to drugs or depressions or accidents?
hide died - wether it was suicide or not. Three members of The Piass died in accidents. I'm actually really concerned about that.
Of course, it's another time and another culture, but couldn't it be, that the heroes of the, I shall call it "2nd generation" of japanese rock musicians, could die soon?

What if Miya would overdose drugs? I know there are no clues he's taking any, but you can't never know (and it's just an example^^)
What if Kyo was really to hurt himself and cut his wrists?
What if Gackt was shot 'cause he left Malice Mizer?
What if Mana died in an car accident?

Man, I seem to get paranoid XD

But, seriously, what would we do if this was to happen? And what would happen in japan afterwards? A wave of suicides among j-Rock-fans?

Well, life's silly XD

I met an old friend of mine yesterday; he moved away some years ago, to Stuttgart. Was really sad about that.
Then a couple of days ago he called me to tell he's back, and, moreover, now living quite near to me^^

We met at his flat yesterday^^

Was just great - we kept smoking shisha and drinkin' beer while talking about music....man, that's just crazy: We both are very addicted to japanese music, but we didn't know absolutely anything the other one likes XD
So I'll get pretty much new stuff to listen to in the recent future, I guess^^

He also told me about his new girlfriend, how they came together and so on. He was very honest while telling me, that was a real honour to me, after such a long time :)

Later on, Robin joined us - was very chilly^^just hanging around on the balcony while smoking.
Hm, in the older movies smoking was a sign of coolness and being relaxed. Now I understand - it's very entertaining, too^^

Having to go home sucked - but I have to work today, so....
But we changed our msn-addys, so we'll keep in touch for sure now^^

Oh, I almost forget: we'll go to Miyavi together^^

Quite now, I'm really happy about the situation^^
Unless the fact that I miss my girlfriend who's in Paris, watchinf Laruku T_T

J-Rock Podcast

I'm thinking about starting a Podcast about J-Rock.

That would work like on radio, but the advance is that you can download it because it's uploaded as a file. And it's for free, of course^^

Thought that the whole thing would contain news, band introducings and just music from well-known and new indie-bands...

Really want to make this, but wondering if there is enough interest in this so that there were a reason for this effort...dunno >_<

Would be really thankfull to get any reply in order to know if I should do this or not....O.o

(by the way, it would be in german XD)

Tasty soup^^some kind of korean, kimchi or something like that...it burned my mouth >_<

Here, that's the soup again^^ (packed...so you might say, it's a ultra sound picture like when you want to watch your unborn child^^)

Tried something new...spaghetti with seagrass - you wouldn't expect, but it's quite tasty :D

凛と-rinto- seems a pretty interestng new band to me^^
As far as I know, they started up activity in august 2007.

Actually, I really can't understand why they kept unsigned till now. Their music is really nice to the ear, and their songs show that they've got great potential, more than many signed bands, I guess. For instance "WHEN I'M PESSIMISTIC", it changes totally within it's six-minutes-length, and is more innovative and entertaining than most releases from the past months, at the same time frinkin' hard and melodic.
Their look is also pretty nice, something different from all these current VK-bands; especially the two bolds, SEY and bowman .v(^.^)v.

So please, give them a try, you surely won't regard it^^
